+++ Ab 20.06.2026 ist Mareike in “Lacrimosa – A Fragment for the End of the World” von Lucia Wunsch, Bendrik Grossterlinden und Emilia Bongilaj am im Rahmen des Mannheimer Sommers des National Theater Mannheim zu sehen.

+++ Mareike is currently playing in „Nora oder Wie man das Herrenhaus kompostiert“ at Schauspielhaus Wien, directed by Juan Miranda. Premiere 14.03.2026

+++ The audioplay „Turnton2047“ by TIME’S UP where Mareike played the part of Barbora Natrovsky is running at the immersive exhibition at Schifffahrtsmuseum Rostock and will premiere at Phoenix Theater Linz on the 2nd of December.

+++ Together with the artist Anna Krenz, Mareike created the project „Mehr als Namen – Frauen*räume schaffen“. For this project Mareike created an 1.5 hours audiowalk throught the Berlin district Frauenviertel. The audiowalk can be listened to here:

Das 13. Jahr” von Signa: Beeindruckende Uraufführung in Hamburg

(…) Plötzlich packt einen eine Schauspielerin und ein Schauspieler in beigefarbener Kleidung und zieht einen mit gedämpfter Stimme in eine der Hütten und sagt: “Kommt mit, ihr müsst euch verstecken”. Die beiden stellten sich als unsere Gasteltern heraus. Wir, die Zuschauern sind Not-Kinder – so werden wir genannt. Wir kommen in diesem Nebel Dorf unter, werden ja quasi in Schutz genommen und tauchen ein in diese Familie. Das funktionierte wirklich überzeugend. Meine Gasteltern, das waren Michael und Gilda, gespielt von Daniel Hoevels vom Schauspielhaus und Mareike Wenzel von Signa, haben das so lebensecht gespielt. Ich sah mich plötzlich am Küchentisch wieder und habe Kartoffeln geschnibbelt für eine abendliche Suppe. Aber Vorsicht: Bloß nicht lachen! Das war verboten. Aber alle hatten auch Angst vor dem, was draußen passiert. Das war wirklich unheimlich (…)

+++ Here are some impressions of “Die Ruhe” at Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg 2022

+++ The latest SIGNA production “Die Ruhe” at Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg had been selected for the Berliner Theatertreffen 2022 as one of the 10 most remarkable performances of 2021/22. In “Die Ruhe” Mareike played  Dr. Antonia Ascheberg-Haus; she has been working with SIGNA as an actress and has been part of the devising team since 2007. “Die Ruhe” more information here.
